Wolfburn 12 y.o.

Für den Wolfburn 12 Jahre, der die Core Range ergänzen wird, wurden zu gleichen Anteilen Sherry Butts und Bourbon Casks aus dem Jahr 2013 ausgesucht, darunter auch peated Quarter Casks. So präsentiert sich ein Northern Highland Single Malt in einem exquisiten Mix aus dem Wolfburn Distillery-Charakter und bestem Fasseinfluss, ausgereift, elegant und verführerisch gut. Selbstverständlich ist auch das neue Wolfburn Flaggschiff in natürlicher Farbgebung und unter Verzicht auf Kühlfiltration in die Flasche gekommen, mit 46% Vol. Alkoholstärke.

Die Original Tasting Notes
On the nose there’s a lovely mix of sweet and floral aromas, overlaid with a subtle trace of peat smoke. 
There’s a wonderful depth of flavour. Hints of honey and burnt sugar mix with soft spices, and throughout there is the ever-present sherry sweetness. 
The finish is long, lingering and delicious, with traces of dried fruit and caramel remaining until the very end.
